Nine's Big Bang ratings

Laughs won over more viewers than drama last night with Nine’s The Big Bang Theory Monday night’s most watched entertainment property.

At 9pm the new episode of the US sitcom pulled in 1.125 million people, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

It outperformed Seven’s drama The Blacklist which at 8.30 pm was watched by 1.006 million.

Big Brother followed closely in the ratings stakes with 992,000 viewers.

 In news wars Nine won with Nine News (1.136 million) also the evening’s most watched program.

Seven News came second with 1.131 million viewers followed by ABC News (833,000) and Ten Eyewitness News (603,000).

Nine won the night overall taking a combined 29.3% share with 22.7% for the network’s primary channel.

Seven sat on a total 27.7% with 20.8% for its main channel. The ABC came third on 21.2% with 15.2% for ABC1.

Ten followed on a combined 16.7% with 8.6% of that going to its main channel.

SBS sat on 5.1% with 4.2% for SBS ONE.
