News Limited has announced that from next week it will adopt a new brand name – News Corp Australia.
The rebrand is part of the global launch of the ‘new’ News Corp, after News Limited’s parent company News Corp this month announced that it had split into two companies.
An internal announcement was made this morning that the company is to rebrand as News Corp Australia, including adopting a new logo (pictured).
The publishing giant has also launched a new corporate Twitter account @newscorpaus.
In a staff email published by The Australian , News Limited CEO Kim Williams, said the rebrand is “designed to support a more coherent and logical identity across the globe, and to emphasise the central part we play in the network of the best companies in the worlds of diversified media, news, education and information services”.
