EXCLUSIVE: Maxus Australia has appointed its first chief strategy officer, bringing in former Aegis strategist Claire Taylor-Rowe.
Taylor-Rowe, originally from the UK, has joined the media agency’s Sydney team from Aegis’ Japan and South Korea operations.
Prior to her 13 months at Aegis, Taylor-Rowe was global head of strategy and planning for Nokia at Carat in London. She has also worked in senior strategic roles at Naked, Initiative and PHD in the UK and Europe.

“Claire is a world class talent, having developed global standard thinking on General Motors, LVMH, Sony Europe, Nokia and Unilever. We are lucky to have her in the team to help drive our next phase of growth.”
Taylor-Rowe (pictured) added: “It is fantastic to be joining the Maxus team at such an exciting time of growth in such a dynamic market.
“I’m really looking forward to working in partnership with our clients to build their businesses through highly innovative communications strategies.”
Chadwick told B&T he has grown Maxus Australia’s head count by about 20% in recent weeks, with the team currently numbered at 32 in Sydney and 30 in Melbourne.
