My Kitchen Rules continues to flirt with the two million viewers mark as 1.948 million people watched the cooking competition on Seven last night.
With just under two million viewers MKR was last night’s most watched program and crushed Nine’s and Ten’s reality shows to take home 7.30pm.
The Block: Fans v Faves was the seventh most watched show on Monday evening with an audience of 1.068 million, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.
Ten’s So You Think You Can Dance didn’t make it into the top 20 programs last night after debuting to less than half-a-million viewers on Sunday.
Ten and Nine were getting cosy in the overall ratings last night with just over one percentage point difference between their total share of all free-to-air viewers.
Nine sat on a total 23.1% compared to Ten’s 22%.
Ten’s primary channel won just 11% of last night’s FTA viewers while Nine’s main channel won 17.6%.
Ten’s overall share was lifted by the Olympic coverage on its digital channel ONE which won 8.4%.
Seven decisively won the night with a combined share of 33.7% and 27.7% for its primary channel.
The ABC came fourth on 17.9% with 12.8% for ABC1. SBS sat on a total 3.3% with 2.9% going to SBS ONE.
