LivingSocial will soon be selling cars with a 40% discount – to three competition winners at least.
The daily deals website has partnered with Nissan to launch a competition that takes 40% off the price of three Nissan Almera Ti four door sedans, complete with LivingSocial branding.
LivingSocial subscribes have been invited to tune in to the website over 7, 8 and 9 August to bid for a $1 voucher that will be released at a random time, and would equate to $9,621 off the maximum estimated driveaway price of $23,420.
The voucher will go to the first person to successfully bid for the $1 voucher.
There will also be a chance to win a Nissan Almera Ti sans the voucher, and the discounted price tag.
Nissan Motor Company Australia’s managing director and CEO William F. Peffer Jr. Said Nissan is constantly looking for innovative ways to offer its cars to new buyers.
LivingSocial Australia’s CEO Adam Rigby said the daily deals website was selceted by Nissan based on its past experience developing marketing campaigns for tier-one brands.
"Australia has not seen a deal of this magnitude before and with three brand new cars up for grabs. We work hard to secure great deals for our members and our Nissan deal is certainly no exception," Rigby said.
The competition is being promoted by the website, member eDMs and social media.
