Lastminute packs K-Rudd's bags

Travel comparison website lastminute.com.au has unleashed a cheeky campaign on the back of Saturday’s federal election with a call for Kevin Rudd to pack his bags and take off.

To thank the former prime minister the brand has “called a second election” to send Rudd on a “last minute getaway”.

The brand is asking Australians to vote for an ideal holiday for Rudd with the Twitter hashtag #whereshouldKevgo.

Once all the votes are in, the business will offer K-Rudd a free holiday.
