Joe Pardillo promoted to Carat Melbourne GM

Carat’s move towards a national leadership structure continues with two promotions, including a new Melbourne general manager.

Group business director Joseph Pardillo has been elevated to Melbourne general manager. He takes over the post from Gavin Ashcroft who moved to fill the newly created chief strategy officer role in November last year.

Ashcroft’s promotion was announced alongside a new national leadership structure and three new posts including head of digital which is being filled by Sarah James.

James is stepping into the newly created national head of digital role from her Melbourne head of digital position.

Simon Ryan, CEO of Carat Australia & New Zealand, said:“Sarah and Joe have both proven themselves as exceptionally talented members of the Carat team, and their promotions are a reflection of this.”

“Sarah has an exceptional grasp on the changing digital landscape and continually innovates in this space to the benefit of our clients. Having managed a large and complex client such as GM Holden as well as continuing to be integral to Melbourne’s continued new business success, Joe has both the business smarts and people management skills to progress to the General Manager role.”  

Their appointments follow Paul Brooks defection from MediaCom earlier this month to take on Carat’s national chief investment role.
