Ikon hires new chief operations officer

Ikon has hired Chris Graham as its new chief operations officer for the group.

Graham joins from media consultancy Faulkner Media Management, where he was general manager for eight years, contributing to the business across six countries.

During his time there the consultancy tripled its client base to 90, and he was responsible for systems, operations and processes, including sophisticated benchmarking software.

At Ikon his remit will include developing the agency’s client-based approach to dynamic trading and media negotiations, as well as working with the national team to embed new ideas.

Ikon CEO Dan Johns said: “Chris is a fantastic operator and leader; he will bring valuable skills and insights to our business helping us further develop our unique trading proposition. “Operationally, we could not wish for a more thorough, disciplined and organised person to ensure our network of five offices in Australia receive the care and attention they need from the National Team.”

Graham added: “Leaving after 12 fantastic years with Eric and the FMM team will be really tough. At the same time, I am incredibly excited by the new challenges that lie ahead of me.

"I cannot wait for the opportunity to bring my media consultancy and operations experience to Ikon, an agency that I have always had the upmost respect for, driven by their transparency, client servicing and innovation.”
