IPG Mediabrands Australia’s chief talent officer, Efi Richter (pictured), has created and filled four new roles including talent directors and a talent executive.

The other new role is a learning and development facilitator, with all four positions focused on the development of IPG Mediabrands’ staff.

“Making a big investment in talent is essential for our abilities into the future to lead and create unique opportunities for our clients,” Henry Tajer, executive chairman of IPG Mediabrands, said.

“Efi and her team are charged with developing top class talent-focused programs to achieve our ambitions and I am looking forward to the group’s influence on our future.”

Filling one of the new talent director roles is Kyle Butler. She joins from We are Social where she was head of people and is now focused on attracting new talent to the IPG group.

Catherine Haddad, UM Sydney’s former investment director, is the second talent director. Her role will see her focus on leading learning and development.

In the talent executive role is Hayley Alexander. Alexander joins from MediaCom where she worked in people management after a move from planning and investment.

Georgia Boyd is in the new learning and development facilitator role.

Richter said: “Our plans are now in place for the launch of national programs focusing on talent attraction, development and retention and the new positions will help drive the programs.”

Richter joined IPG Mediabrands in August.
