The House Rules semi-final failed to beat The Block last night with 1.28 million watching Seven’s reno program compared to The Block Sky High’s 1.503 million.
House Rules, which was broadcast at 7.30 pm, couldn’t compete with Nine’s 60 Minutes which pulled 1.585 million viewers at the same time last night, according to OzTam’s preliminary ratings.
The Block at 6.30 also outperformed its Seven’s Sunday Night which had an audience of 1.189 million.
Seven’s A Place to Call Home did win the 8.30/45pm slot against Nine’s House Husbands, 1.246 million compared to 1.021 million respectively.
Nine’s strong programming won a greater share of Sunday night’s free-to-air viewers, 23.7% for the main channel compared to Seven’s 22.9%.
Ten had a good night, no top 10 programs but won 6 of the top 20 to take 12.4%.
Elementary was the best performing show on Ten, in 12th place it won over 729,000 viewers.
MasterChef sat in 14th place with an audience of 683,000.
