Harry and Christo’s disaster on My Kitchen Rules (MKR) last night proved not a disaster for Seven who have dominated the ratings for the past two days.
With 2.11 million people tuning in to see the myriad of smashing eggs and white sugar where icing sugar was meant to go (more than Monday’s 1.948 million), MKR beat out all other shows including the news last night.
Seven dominated the ratings last night, according to OzTam preliminary metro ratings, scoring the top three most watched shows, with Seven News and Today Tonight following MKR.
Home and Away also helped pulled Seven to victory with a combined total share of 30.3% as 1.048 people tuned in to see what the Palm Beach residents were up to.
Seven’s primary channel had 24.3% of the viewers.
Nine’s The Block only pulled in 1.038 million viewers, and less than a million people (973,000) cared who Penny from The Big Bang Theory had married.
However it was enough for Nine to come in second with a total combined share of 26.9% with 21.2% going to its primary channel.
The coverage of the T20 Big Bash cricket and the Winter Olympics managed to pull Ten to third place, with a total share of 21.7%.
ABC came in fourth with 17.8% and SBS trailed behind with only 3.3%.
