The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has added a Digital Marketer of the Year to its awards list for this year.
IAB said that the award will “honour a marketer who has shown bravery in their digital marketing endeavours and who has consistently delivered tangible results for their company or brand through the use of digital marketing”.
The Digital Marketer of the Year award will be presented at the 2013 IAB Australia Awards to be held on 11 July at The Star in Sydney.
Samantha Yorke (pictured), acting CEO of IAB Australia, said: “With our theme for the IAB Awards this year around bravery, it seemed fitting that we should also seek out this characteristic for the Digital Marketer of the Year Award. We are encouraging agencies and publishers alike to nominate their clients for this prestigious award, and indeed for marketers to consider their peers or even boss for nomination."
