STW’s strategic design agency Designworks has recruited a new creative director and creative strategist.
Kasia Wydrowski joins Designworks Sydney as creative director from Eskimo where she was creative director as well as trends and insights director.
Wydrowski (pictured top), who has also worked at Interbrand in Australia and Amsterdam, will lead the Sydney design team and work with clients including Westpac, Stockland and NRMA.
The new creative strategist for the Melbourne office is Luke van O (pictured left). He was originally trained as an architect before becoming a digital entrepreneur, an equities trader and a writer for children’s TV. He was most recently running his own digital strategy, campaign development and brand consultancy.
He will work on key clients Officeworks and Boral, acting as a collaborator with Designworks’ creative teams, bridging strategy and design.
Tim Riches, managing director Designworks Australia, said: “Diversyfying our skill base across different facets of design is at the core of our proposition.”
“It powers our ability to design customer experience and transform brands. And Luke and Kasia bring breadth and depth as well as being the kind of professionals people enjoy working with.”
