Hollywood star Dan Aykroyd visit to Australia to promote the Crystal Head vodka product range has been marred with a war of words with SBS.
Late last week Aykroyd, who's starred in blockbuster franchise Ghostbusters and cult hit The Blues Brothers, stormed out of an interview with host Ellen Fanning on SBS show The Observer Effect.
The Telegraph has reported that Aykroyd lost his famous cool outside the SBS offices in Sydney and was overheard venting his frustration by calling somebody at SBS a 'f**ing hosebag'.
During the interview, Aykroyd discussed his childhood and career with Fanning, but blew his top when the host refused to turn the conversation to spruiking the Crystal Head vodka products.
Since the row erupted, The Telegraph has now reported that the producers of the SBS talk show have asked the executive producer of the show to apologise to the Aykroyd
The producer reportedly refused, saying the show is not used for free advertorials, and instead asked for Aykroyd to apologise.
