Dancing with the Stars stole the show last night, winning the pedestal in the ratings race as 1.24 million Australians tuned in.
The two hour program saw Seven beat Nine and Ten in the prime-time 7.30 to 9.30 pm slot outperforming Nine’s Big Brother (870,000) , Big School (581,000) and Come Fly With Me (479,000).
The dancing competition also beat Recipe to Riches (524,000), Sleepy Hollow (459,000) and NCIS: Los Angeles (470,000) on Ten.
The pull of Dancing with the Stars saw Seven command the largest share of all free-to-air viewers, taking a combined 34.7%. Of that 27.4% went to the network’s primary channel.
Nine was left with a total 24.9% share and 19% for its main channel. Ten sat on a total 18.3% share with 12% going to the network’s main channel.
The ABC took 16.6% and 11.7% went to ABC1. SBS won a slender 5.4% total with SBS One on 4.4%.
