Ipsos MediaCT’s latest findings on Australia’s “Business Elite” (BE) come as no great surprise with items such as travel, cars, art, jewellery and wine listed as the top purchase priorities for this demographic.
Ipsos MediaCT’s annual Business Elite Survey includes data from more than 52, 000 senior business decision makers, providing insight into the purchase behaviour and media consumption habits of Australia’s top business leaders.
Results from the survey found the BE have a net worth of $1.7 million, with 54% intending to holiday this year at an average cost of $7000 per person.
Highlights from the report showed the average business elite member has attained a wider breadth of responsibility and demonstrate a greater interest in data storage, cloud computing and management/integration.
The Australian Financial Review is the most widely read publication by the BE, reaching 42% of business leaders.
Smart Investor was the highest reaching investment magazine, while Business Day was the highest reaching business and finance website.
