Liquor retailer BWS has launched a pitch for its creative advertising account and invited agencies – including incumbent GHO – to submit expressions of interest for the business.
The Woolworths-owned chain recently completed a rebranding project which it said had almost doubled its store footprint across the country, and it's now reviewing its creative strategy on the back of that.
Andrew Hicks, general manager of marketing for the Woolworths Liquor Group, said: “It’s an exciting time for the brand and the right time to review our marketing activity. We look forward to the review and invite interested agencies including our incumbent agency GHO Sydney to pitch for the business.
He added: “We have enjoyed a great relationship with GHO Sydney over many years and are proud of the work we’ve produced together. We have valued their enthusiasm and knowledge of the BWS brand and their commitment to its growth.”
BWS has called for expressions of interest to pitch for its creative account from “innovative, strategic, creative and digital savvy agencies that can think outside the box and have a demonstrated ability to work within a fast paced retail environment.”
