Clemenger BBDO Adelaide has promoted long-time staffer Bryce Coombe to managing director as Kim Boehm moves into the executive chairman role.
Boehm, who has been MD for the past eight years, said the changes had been on the cards for the past few years and now is the right time to make the changes.
“Bryce has an incredible work ethic and a great passion for our business and importantly, he also has a strong vision for the future of our business,” Boehm said.
Coombe (pictured) has been with the agency for seven years and has been head of account management for the past two.
“We have a very strong digital and social media offer and we are going to continue to invest in this area,” Coombe said.
“This doesn’t change our belief in the power of creativity but we believe it does change the nature of our offer.”
On Boehm’s new executive role, Coombe said he was an important part of the agency “and will continue to be so as he helps us continue our transition into Adelaide’s most forward-looking agency”.
Clients include San Remo, Motor Accident Commission, University of South Australia and Great Southern Rail, among others.
