Bored of selfies? You might not be, but perhaps your friends are. But a new Android app is bringing selfies to life in a whole new way – with cats.

Snapcat is a photo app that lets cats take selfies with their paws. By pawing a moving red dot that appears on the phone screen, cats will take a picture of themselves.

Genius!

Snapcat – a play on Snapchat – was developed in 24 hours at EyeEm’s Photo Hack Day in Berlin and can be downloaded for free from Google Play.

Great news for all the crazy cat people out there. It’ll soon be time to get your cat its own phone number.
