Media agency Carat has launched in Perth this week.
The move will see some clients and staff of Mitchell & Partners – owned by Aegis Media, along with Carat – transferring to the Carat brand.
Carat now has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Perth, employing more than 300 people.
Alan Matthews, managing director of Mitchell & Partners in Perth, is now leading Carat. He will also retain his position at Mitchells.
Luke Littlefield (pictured), CEO of Aegis Media Australia and New Zealand, said: “We have enjoyed great business success in the Western Australian market and the launch of Carat in Perth is testament to the momentum we have built. Our clients and people will benefit from this move and we look forward to the opportunities it will bring.”
Matthews added: “Migrating certain Mitchells clients to the Carat brand in Perth will give them access to a global network with proprietary planning and research tools that will enhance the way we do business. This is an exciting move for us.”
Mitchell & Partners will remain in Perth.
