Barker Gray Sydney has been chosen from five vying agencies to be added to Lion’s Beer, Spirits & Wine account.
The Sydney design agency which is celebrating a decade of business this month will join existing partner Energi to work on XXXXGold, Tooheys New and Tooheys Extra Dry.
Lion Beer, Spirits & Wine Australia’s national marketing manager, Matt Tapper, said they were impressed by Barker Gray's strategic design and creativity in the pitch.
“As we look to boost momentum this year in redefining the image of the beer category and to lead it into new territories, it is important that we have the right partners on board to support us.
“We feel they are the right partner for us at this time to work alongside Energi to bring to life some of the design elements of our marketing mix,” he said.
Barker Gray’s director Johnny Barker said the agency is enjoying the significance of the win.
“We’re revelling in the prospect of working together with Lion, to further build their iconic brand portfolio,” he said.
