EXCLUSIVE: Thirteen agencies will battle it out for the City of Sydney’s advertising and media account, B&T can reveal.
In early July, the Council put out a tender to find an agency to develop its online and offline advertising services for a three year term, with the option of another two years.
B&T has learned that 13 agencies remain in the running for the account, which is chiefly media work, including STW Group media agency Bohemia, M&C Saatchi, The Hallway, Blaze Advertising, The Holla agency, and Ogilvy.
The incumbent Leonard Holt Robb is still in contention, alongside Blaze Advertising, Innovation Foundry, JayGrey, JLM Marketing, Maggie Dreyer Advertising, Core Idea, and PRA Enterpraise
The successful agency will lead the City of Sydney’s campaign ads for events, programs and initiatives, plus public notice and development application ads. This will involve planning across multiple media platforms, including digital, creative and production services, plus post campaign reporting.
The Council is also close to making a decision on an agency for its creative duties for the city’s renowned New Year’s Eve celebrations. In May, B&T revealed the names of the six agencies in the running for the NYE gig.
