Michael Harvey (pictured) will next month take the reins as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Australian Radio Network (ARN).

Harvey, who previously held financial management roles at News Limited, Fox Studios Australia and CareerOne, will join ARN with over 17 years media experience.

He will replace Cormac O’Shea who is moving to London to take up the CFO post at Clear Channel International, which owns 50 per cent of ARN.

ARN’s CEO Ciaran Davis, said: “This is an incredible opportunity for Cormac and demonstrates the diverse career avenues available at ARN via both our shareholders.”

Davis added that ARN was very fortunate to have Harvey to fill the breach.

“With his proven experience, we are looking forward to the next phase of growth for ARN as we continue to position ourselves as the leaders in radio broadcasting in Australia,” said Davis.

Speaking about his appointment, Harvey said ARN is a very exciting place to be at the moment and its future prospects are well worth getting involved in.

ARN has stated that it is on target for a strong year with top of the chart performances in all states across Australia.
