US airline, Delta Airlines, has partnered with Virgin Australia and Tourism Australia in a campaign to bring more Americans to Australia now, not “someday”.
The “someday” campaign offers participants the chance to win 52 trips to Australia until April 21, 2014.
“With Delta’s unparalleled domestic network in the U.S., we can bring more U.S. travelers to Australia via our gateway in Los Angeles,” Vinay Dube, Delta’s senior vice president of Asia Pacific, said.
“This is a significant milestone for our partnership with Virgin Australia and shows how closely we are working together to increase inbound travel to Australia.”
The campaign website, AustraliaSomeday.com, US residents can enter by choosing from 52 weeklong Australian trips featuring different events and destinations.
A multimedia advertising promotion through print, TV, social media and billboards at LA Airport will be executed in the US aiming at promoting the campaign.
