AdStream hires former News Limited Perth sales boss

Ad distribution and management company Adstream has hired former Perth Sunday Times sales director Angus MAcGregor as its first sales and marketing director in Australia.

Yesterday the News Limited title revealed former Fairfax Metro Media boss Michael Riach had been appointed to replace MacGregor, who was previously commercial director for now defunct Dennis Publishing title The Week,, as well as senior roles at, ACP Magazines and Yahoo.

 He said: ““I am delighted to be joining Adstream at an exciting time, with the coming launch of our new cross media asset management solution Adbank.

“Adstream has a well-earned reputation for excellence in providing client service and solutions, and I’m looking forward to contributing.”

Peter Miller, managing director of Adstream Australia, said MacGregor’s leadership record makes him a good fit for the company.

He added: “Adstream is strengthening its core services whilst diversifying its capabilities, so it is really important we focus on our sales and marketing resources.”

The appointment is effective immediately.
