AIMIA finalists announced

The finalists for the annual AIMIA awards have been announced with 171 entries selected as finalists across 32 categories.

This year sees the largest number of finalists for the awards' 20th year to date as the categories increased from 23 last year to 32

“This year's finalists feature serious tech such as 3D printing, data-science, eye-tracking and even robotics, to provide new and more engaging customer experiences,” Paul McCarthy, AIMIA Awards judging chair, said.

“We're seeing a lot more world class video-centric apps emerge including four major broadcaster catch-up services (TenPlay, Foxtel Go 2013, SBS On Demand Android and ABC iView,” he said, adding that the use of digital of digital video continues to rise.
