Sydney TVC production agency Jungleboys has launched a sister company to look after its corporate films work.
The new company, called In The Thicket (ITT), will produce corporate films for internal and external communications, for marketing and events, as well as looking after any branded content that doesn’t fall under Jungleboys’ comedy remit.
ITT is headed up by Stephan Renard, who has led the division for three years, and launches with Mel Pragrassen as creative director and Leigh Richards as principal director.
Renard (pictured) said: “There is a growing demand for high-end films in corporate communications, and they often require not only a great director but also beautiful design and animation, so both Mel and Leigh are critical to ITT.”
Jason Burrows, managing director at Jungleboys, added: “The team’s success has come from bringing TV commercial production values to corporate films, but these jobs operate in different ways to our commercials work and involve a different team, so the launch of ITT allows us to distinguish.”
