Australia’s original leak-proof apparel brand, Modibodi is walking-the-walk when it comes to sustainability; launching Australia’s first fully recycled pop up store to tour Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

The innovative Australian company empowers everyone in Australia and around the world to ditch the disposables managing their periods, incontinence and sweat.

Modibodi founder and CEO, Kristy Chong said: “Modibodi exists for two key reasons; to give people dignity and confidence when managing periods or bladder leaks, and to do better for the environment.

“We’ve created our first ever popup store to continue our journey to break down taboos and help people to understand and embrace their bodies, while also looking out for the planet. Ensuring that the pop-up was environmentally friendly was a no brainer for us.”

Chong continued: “From graphic PVC made from recycled straws and water bottles, eco biodegradable wallpaper, upcycled roof joists and a pre-loved ‘Hills Hoist’ clothesline; the entire pop-up is upcycled or made from biodegradable materials.”

Embarking on a tour of east-coast capital cities, the Modibodi pop-up will visit:

▪ Chadstone in Melbourne: 28 October – 3 November
▪ Indooroopilly Shopping Centre in Brisbane: 5 – 10 November
▪ Macquarie Shopping Centre in Sydney: 11 – 17 November for National Recycling Week.

The pop-ups will be hosted by Modibodi customers who are passionate about sharing their experience with other Australians.

Chong continued: “For many new customers, trusting that Modibodi isn’t going to leak can be daunting.

“We’ve created a community of customer ambassadors for this reason, to talk honestly about their journey and experiences with Modibodi.”

Australians can visit the Modibodi pop-ups to learn about Modibodi’s patented technology, to look, feel and touch the products, for discounts, competitions and most importantly have the opportunity to talk honestly and openly with other Modibodi customers.

For every pair of underwear purchased at the Modibodi pop-ups, the company’s Give a Pair Program will donate one pair of Modibodi underwear to women’s shelters and women in need around Australia.
