Take a Field Trip with Google Glass

Tour operators beware, you have a new high-tech competitor as a US-based start-up rereleases its smartphone Field Trip app for Goggle Glass.

The year-old app from Niantic Labs’ John Hanke, who was behind Google Earth, Maps and Street View, is the ninth to be approved by Google for us on Glass during its experimental stage.

Field Trip works by pulling in information from the web about the user’s location and sites around them to act as a virtual tour guide.
