Profero HQ and CEO relocates to Singapore

Profero and its co-founder and global CEO Wayne Arnold has relocated from New York to Singapore.

The agency is moving its global headquarters to Singapore as it attempts take advantage of growing opportunities in Asia.

Arnold (pictured), the head of the high-profile independent digital agency, will make the immediate move to focus on expanding Profero’s Asia-Pacific operations.

Aaron Reitkopf, CEO for the Americas, will continue to lead Profero’s operations in the region.

“Whilst many agencies have publicly stated their commitment to the Asia- Pacific region, Profero becomes one of the only major global agencies to have such a senior team currently on the ground,” said Arnold, who co-founded Profero in London in 1998.

“2013 will be the first year our Asia-Pacific operations will be larger than EMEA and the Americas’. This is a major milestone and credit to our talented team especially when you consider we are seeing considerable growth in all our regions,” he added.

He said Profero’s Asia-Pacific growth has been fuelled by North American and European business looking to expand into the region, and he anticipates this will continue.

“We are also seeing Asian businesses looking to make an impact in the West and Profero is perfectly placed to assist them with this."

In January, Danone appointed Profero Sydney to handle its Australian digital marketing account for its baby nutrition brands Aptamil and Karicare after a pitch.
