Mobile marketing and commerce is proving ever more profitable for Mobile Embrace which is celebrating a successful financial year with a 165% increase in profit. 

Mobile Embrace enjoyed revenue of $12 million this financial year, up from $11.37 million last year, while m-payments (mobile commerce) showed a 53 per cent growth from the third to fourth quarter, up from $1.9 million to $2.9 million.

The business of mobile advertising saw a significant increase this financial year, up 88 per cent to $3 million from $1.6 million in 2012 and outdoing last year’s predictions of 46 per cent growth over the next five years.

Mobile Embrace’s CEO Chris Thorpe said; “We are very pleased with the result and the growth of our business with strong revenue coming from the mobile commerce and mobile advertising. Our company is well positioned to capitalise on a market forecast for strong and sustained earnings.”
