Aegis Media-owned digital agency Columbus has hired two digital experts to its senior management team.
Mitchell McBeath has been brought on board as general manager of its Victorian and West Australian operations, while Martin Curtis will lead the team in New South Wales and Queensland.
Columbus said the new hires come as the agency expands its offering “to assist brands in navigating and influencing the entire digital consumer journey with digital talent the driving force for delivering performance and experience solutions for their clients”.
McBeath, with over a decade experience in the digital space, has previously worked senior positions at Reprise Media and Mediacom, working on numerous multi-million dollar accounts including Westpac, Proctor & Gamble, NSW Government, Volkswagen, Audi, Bunning’s, Hyundai, Kia, ING Direct & RACQ.
Formerly with Experian, Curtis has nine years’ digital experience, working with key clients such as IAG, BUPA, Woolworths, David Jones, Citibank, Virgin Australia, HSBC and Optus across paid search, SEO, email, display, social, CRO, competitive intelligence and analytics.
