Three Aussie bloggers have been picked as regular faces on Seven’s afternoon show, The Daily Edition.

Beth Macdonald, from BabyMac, Kerri Sackville, from Life and Other Crises, and Mrs Woog from Woogsworld will all feature in a new weekly segment called The Debrief.

It’s the first time bloggers have had their own regular segment on national TV.

Macdonald said: “As bloggers, we are in a unique position to access hundreds of thousands of people and discuss any number of issues in an authentic way. The extension from computer screen to mainstream media is an exciting one and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

Sydney-based blogger agency The Remarkables Group represents Woog and Macdonald.

Lorraine Murphy, head of relationships, said: “This is a very big statement from Seven on the relevance and importance of bloggers to the wider media landscape.”

The Debrief airs for the first time tomorrow.
