Hisense is gearing up for its third year as the official team supplier for Red Bull Racing, displaying its technology at the 2017 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix.

The brand will provide almost 800 TVs across Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit, bringing vibrant colour, high definition and constant wireless connectivity to areas including the Formula 1 Paddock Club hospitality suite and the Red Bull Racing team garage.

Andrew Westacott, CEO of Australian Grand Prix Corporation, said that as the relationship between technology and sport becomes increasingly connected, the presence of Hisense screens at the Grand Prix has become an essential part of the entertainment and fan experience at the event.

“The Hisense screens we have in place throughout our corporate hospitality and media centre look fantastic and are instrumental in providing our fans and media with clear displays that have the latest functionality,” he said.

Andre Iannuzzi, head of marketing at Hisense Australia, said the brand’s existing bond with the Grand Prix and the Red Bull Racing Team is consistent with the user experience Hisense attempts to deliver with its TV range.

“Anybody who’s ever witnessed a Formula 1 race in person will know what an unforgettable experience it is. You’re surrounded by lots of bold, vivid colours, the deafening roar of the F1 engines, and there’s a palpable, high-octane energy that really excites the senses,” he said.

“That, combined with the precision involved with planning the race, evokes a wonderful synchronicity with what our developers at Hisense create in a home theatre environment. It’s a partnership that very much speaks to what we’re all about as a brand.”
