More proof that the tech-heads will indeed inherit the earth comes a study into the current state of the Australian job market that shows tech-savvy employees are in huge demand.

The report, by recruitment firm Hudson, tracked the hiring intentions of more than 2000 Australian businesses and the attitudes of 1330 employees in April.

The same study, published last week, found that 44 per cent of Aussies are actively seeking a new role. Some 32 per cent of us are keen on hearing about new opportunities and only 24 per cent content to stay put.
