Nick Xenophon Unveils Truly Awful All-Singing, All-Dancing Election Ad

Maverick politician Nick Xenophon has unveiled his first, and particularly dodgy ad for his SA Best party in the lead-up to the South Australian election on March 17.

The ad, of dubious quality, sees Xenophon sing from a hospital bed, pose as a Bollywood star, and recline on hay bales.

Echoing Labor’s 1972 classic “It’s Time” jingle, Xenophon’s sings: “Make the change in the Nick of time. Forget the rest, vote SA Best”.

Xenophon has admitted the ad is “cheesy” and he is a “crap” actor, but didn’t want to make it “poisonous, unlike ads from the major parties”. Voters, check out the colourful spot below:
