Gucci Says Vive La Révolution In Slightly Ironic (But Nonetheless Spectacular) New Campaign

Luxury global fashion brand, Gucci, has tapped into the idea of revolution for its latest campaign that is a direct nod to the Paris student riots in 1968.

The big-budget and the authentically shot ad is titled GucciDansLesRues (“Gucci in the Streets”) and is largely ironic – poor students in haute couture fashion – but undoubtedly plays into the feelings of unrest (see the #MeToo movement) that is the current cultural norm and advertising “go to”.

The ad was shot by British fashion photographer and film director, Glen Luchford, and comes with a thumping soundtrack to boot. Check it out below:
