Australian telecommunication group People Telecom has appointed former Publicis strategic marketing director Annalisa Haskell in the newly created position of director, consumer marketing.
Haskell has more than 17 years experience in marketing for organisations including St George Bank, NRMA Insurance, American Express Australia, Cable and Wireless UK, Cable and Wireless Optus and ASB Bank NZ Ltd.
In her role at People Telecom, Haskell will be responsible for building the People Telecom brand and managing customer acquisition and retention for the company which is targeting the consumer and small business sectors with its broadband and Voice Over Internet Protocol services (VOIP), along with other long distance, mobile and data telecommunications services.
Previously to joining People Telecom Haskell had been in her role at Publicis Mojo for a year.
Earlier she was head of marketing for the priority customer segment at St George Bank, and also held the role of customer and product marketing manager for NRMA Insurance (IAG) responsible for all insurance, and financial services marketing.
Haskell has also been marketing director at American Express and held a variety of senior marketing management positions with Optus Communications through market deregulation.
