Pepsi launches mobile credit promo

Pepsi is launching the first ever cross telco mobile credit promotion that will see $50 worth of credit being given away ever ten minutes.

Launching this Sunday (14 October) until 25 November, the Pepsi ConX U promotion is using Australian start up company Mobux which is the only retailer that is certified by al the major mobile operators.

Winners log on to www.pepsi.com.au/conxu, enter their unique code and set up an account to redeem their prize.

The Mobux solution means that the $50 can be claimed by both prepaid mobile users and those on monthly plans.

Danni Uglow from TMSW, Pepsi’s creative agency for ConX U, said: “When I learnt about the Mobux platform I was instantly intrigued, such a fantastic solution to a time old problem - a simple prize offering that was hampered by multiple carriers. The Pepsi target market are all over their mobiles phones and not only will they appreciate it - but so will their parents, the main grocery buyer."

Pepsi will communicate the ConX U promotion on six million bottles of Pepsi.
