Hancocks Wine & Spirit Merchants, distributors of Jack Daniel’s, have appointed JWT New Zealand to handle the advertising and promotion of whiskey brand Jack Daniel’s. JWT managing director, Simon Fitch said: “This is a brilliant opportunity. Jack Daniel’s is an iconic brand and together with our new client we have identified a new, younger audience that we need to develop a fresh relationship with. Jack is well loved by a core following of slightly older spirit drinkers. Our task is reinvigorate the brand and broaden its appeal.”

Vince Frost of Frost Design has been named creative director for Woolworths South Africa. His contract, which will see him involved in repositioning the country's leading retail brand, will commence this November. Frost will work closely with local South African design companies and Woolworths’ ad agency. He will evolve the new identity across all areas of branding, including packaging designs across all categories.

Melbourne Water has appointed Marmalade as its new creative agency following a competitive creative tender process. Melbourne Water manages water supply catchments, treats and supplies drinking and recycled water, removes and treats most of Melbourne’s sewage. On Friday B&T Today revealed Marmalade had also won the account for Mercedes-Benz Vans.

ESPN’s online sports television service, ESPN360, has launched streaming from Foxtel’s website www.foxtel.com.au as part of Foxtel’s Next Generation of channel launches. ESPN360 is a broadband sports network and will carry over 2000 LIVE sports events annually and will be available to all Foxtel Sports tier subscribers. Each Foxtel Sports Tier subscriber household will have two access passes to ESPN360 at no extra charge.
