TNS and Media Cart Australia, the company which runs digital screens on shopping trolleys, have partnered to develop a new research into shopper behaviour, live messages and concept testing ‘retail laboratory’ and evaluation of advertising effectiveness. Media Cart trolley uses path tracking technology and an interactive visual display to collect data on shopper behaviour. TNS will deliver research for manufacturers, retailers and advertisers/ marketers.
Austereo radio presenters Hamish and Andy will be guests spot on the new series of The Jay Leno Show tonight. Hamish and Andy are currently in the United States after travelling 5,000 kms from Miami to LA on their American Caravan of Courage tour. Australian viewers can see the episode at 7.30pm on The Comedy Channel, hours after its US premiere. Appearing with Hamish and Andy are Robin Williams and Miley Cyrus.
Trade Minister Simon Crean today released a public tender for its four-year project, Building Brand Australia, which aims to “sell Australia to the world” and improve the country’s global trade relations as well as encourage investment and education opportunities in Australia. The tender is open to all companies but one of the criteria is “experience of implementing locally developed campaigns internationally.” The successful agency will be awarded a $4 million contract over 4 years. The government has set aside $20 million over the next four years to deliver the new brand.
PR company The Word Press has been appointed as the public relations agency for forklift company, Flexilift Australia. Flexilift was recently awarded exclusive agency rights for South Korean powerhouse, Hyundai forklifts, Australia-wide.
