The Omnicom-aligned Clemenger Colenso network scored the most shortlist nominations for this year’s B&T Awards.
More than 50 companies have made the list in the 21 categories. More than 30 industry representatives ranging from marketing directors to creatives to agency bosses and media owners, whittled down the 250 entries into shortlists, with final judging due to take place on November 16.
The Clemenger Colenso network were shortlisted for ad agency of the year, NSW agency of the year, Victorian agency of the year, Queensland agency of the year, WA/SA agency of the year, New Zealand agency of the year and best ad campaign. The group's Proximity Worldwide brand was shortlisted for DM agency. .
Omnicom agencies also head the media battle, with OMD shortlisted for media agency of the year, plus three best media planning shortlistings. Sister agency Davinci also appears on the best media planning shortlist and is also a contender for the emerging agency category too.
In PR, Hill & Knowlton heads the list, shortlisted for PR agency of the year and PR strategy, while Edelman also has two nominations, both in the PR strategy category.
Marketing teams from some of Australia's biggest brands will also do battle, with Diageo, Unilever Australia and Coca-Cola Australia all on the shortlist.
Tables for the awards night at Sydney’s Luna Park on December 7 go on sale on November 9.
