News brings in performance consultants for classified business

 
News Limited has hired a firm of consultants to improve performance at its News Advantage business which handles print and online classified sales across its metropolitan, regional and online publications.

The company has hired performance improvement consultants Prosell to takes its sales teams to “the next level”, according to a company statement.

News Advantage oversees the classified sales on a range of News Limited publications including The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, Melbourne’s Herald Weekly Times and Leader group of newspapers.

News Advantage Melbourne division general manager Karen Watts said: “We are a progressive company and recognise that our customers have increasingly more choices about where they place their advertising. To continue moving forward we must continue to improve our services and consistently add value by providing the results our clients want.”

Prosell’s managing director Peter Fullbrook said. “We feel confident that we can meet the goals of News Advantage and provide them with a measurable change in skill levels that will provide results.”
