Cummins & Partners has been appointed to launch a major new campaign for the Queensland tourism region, the Whitsundays.
The new campaign will be launched in April next year following a review of the strategy for the region by Tourism Queensland.
Tourism Queensland chief executive officer Ian Mitchell said the organisation is looking to take the ‘Out of the Blue’ message “to the next level”.
“Clearly the inherent beauty of the greater Whitsundays region is the major attraction and ‘Out of the Blue’ has worked well to position the destination as Australia’s aquatic playground,” Hamilton said.
“We’re looking to build on these opportunities with a refreshed message that also highlights the region’s unbeatable combination of coastal and aquatic activities in a resort atmosphere, coupled with the region’s number one drawcard: the Great Barrier Reef.”
