M&C Saatchi Sydney managing director Marie Jackson has quit the agency to return to Melbourne.
Jackson, who has been with the agency for nine years, will leave on 12 June to start work at a business services company.
A replacement has not yet been named, but an M&C Saatchi spokesperson said a review of its management structure would be carried out before a new appointment is made.
“Marie is moving out of the agency business and returning to Melbourne to a senior appointment with a business services company," said Tom Dery, M&C Saatchi executive chairman Asia Pacific & US. “She has been an integral part of our growth story both in New Zealand, where she spent six years as MD, followed by three years as MD Sydney."
Jackson said: “M&C Saatchi has been an important part of my life for nine years. I'm now looking forward to the next exciting stage of my career and this new opportunity.”
M&C Saatchi were this week dropped by Tourism Australia from its $180m creative account after having worked on the account for three years.
