Betcard backs Saatchi & Saatchi

NEW smart card operator Betcard has appointed Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney to its account.

Betcard—operated under license from Channel-Sport Pty Ltd the licensors—is a debit/gift card application that launches to the public in January next year.

It has been developed with the aim of addressing growing concerns that credit cards, and going into debt for gambling purposes, is the only facility available that can provide access to multiple betting agencies.

It’s also targeted at punters who do not want to use credit cards who find they are forced to lodge multiple deposits with multiple betting agencies to ensure they have funds available wherever the best odds are on offer.

Betcard customers can place bets from their home computers, cyber cafes, Channel-Sport touch screen computer kiosks, and thousands of modified EFTPOS machines nationally.

Saatchi & Saatchi has designed the look and branding of the Betcard and the accompanying sales brochure to assist with the national roll out of the card.
