Malaysian Airlines is running a 16-page poster advertisement in Time magazine for the first time as part of its advertising campaign to promote the launch of its new A380 Airbus aircraft this month.
The specially-designed fold-out poster running globally in the magazine talks about the airline's continued commitment to the latest travel technology.
Malaysian Airlines assistant general manager marketing Yazid Mohamed said the ad was part of the airline’s strategy to “working closely with the best partners for 'out of the box' innovative solutions”.
“In collaborating with TIME magazine and Starcom on the 16-page poster, we developed a unique creative to clearly illustrate the long-haul and passenger capacity of Airbus's latest aircraft the A380 to our target audience," he said.
“We always strive to extend Malaysia Airlines’ branding platform with dynamic ideas that are relevant to our audience. We believe the dramatic 16page poster insert will achieve the desired communication cut through, not only in its message but through the manner in which the communication is revealed through each folding.”
