Zenith opened its doors to more than 130 senior media owners who were immersed in the Zenith philosophy and special client activations at the agency’s annual 2017 Media Day, held last night in Sydney.

Zenith CEO Nickie Scriven and Sydney Managing Director Karen Halligan kicked off the evening by discussing the Zenith proposition for clients to drive marketing-led growth. A live interaction followed to demonstrate Zenith’s proprietary CX Suite, that includes data, analytics and consumer journey mapping, and Innovate tools and how both are revolutionising the way that Zenith works with its clients and media partners through data, technology and creativity.

Zenith highlighted its commitment to a constructive and collaborative three-way relationship between the agency, its clients and media owners to support Zenith’s purpose of driving marketing-led growth for clients, and delivering on its promise of ‘Dependable ROI’.

“The purpose of our Open Day is to forge closer working relationships with our valued media partners. We need our media partners to understand our approach and process to drive marketing-led growth for our clients so they can respond effectively to briefs. The power of Zenith’s CX Suite and Innovate process, coupled with our media partners’ deep understanding of their audiences and how best to engage with them, will create powerful partnerships that will deliver for our clients,” Nickie Scriven said.

The audience was invited to circulate around several interactive client stands including ‘fabulous hair happiness’ GIF machines and the terrifying ‘I’m a media owner get me out of here!’ cockroach activation with client RB’s Mortein. Using the activations, Zenith demonstrated the core challenges for each client and how the agency was navigating new perspectives to help grow its clients’ businesses and explaining the opportunities for media owners and the role they could play.

Nine Entertainment Co Chief Revenue Officer, Michael Stephenson, said: “It was a great format and the presenters were full of energy. Nickie Scriven clearly articulated what will differentiate Zenith as a media agency.”

MCN National Sales Director TV and Digital, Nick Young, said: “Entertaining and informative format that will resonate with the team. From an MCN perspective having a deeper understanding of clients’ business will help us to frame our responses moving forward. Great to see the passion and enthusiasm coming through from the team.”

Eggmobi CEO, Nik Kontoulas, said: “It is extremely apparent that Zenith know what they’re doing. They clearly understand their clients’ businesses, and were able to articulate what the challenges were, as if they were their own.”

Zenith’s Karen Halligan said: “Our event has been a huge success and built even deeper relationships with our media partners and a greater understanding of our clients.”
