The team is all volunteers, working together to provide a platform where the industries up and comers have access to the insights of the industry’s top creative, strategic and account service minds.

Positions vacant:

We will have two positions open on the committee for a June start.

We are looking for energetic and intelligent young people from a variety of agencies and backgrounds, but for one of the roles we’re specifically looking for someone with an art direction/design background.

At the end of the document is a list of short questions for you to complete, so we can get an idea of your experience, personality and what you want to get out of Youngbloods.

We have also included a snapshot into the commitment required to join the committee. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Member requirements:

Although being on the committee is loads of fun, it does require a commitment of your time and effort. Below is a list of general requirements.

It’s important to ensure upfront it’s something you can manage with your workload. Committee members need to be able to realistically commit to:

  • 1 x 1-hour committee meeting every month, generally on a weeknight from 7pm – 8pm. Each committee member is usually required to hold a meeting and provide refreshments at their office on a rotating basis.
  • At the meetings members are required to bring proactive ideas for; new events including topics, speakers, locations and formats and ideas on how to extend out the Youngbloods brand to encourage new memberships, social media content and possible sponsorships – you don’t need to be a pro at this, just bring an open mind and some creative thinking.
  • Each committee member’s agency is required, if possible, to assist with providing a venue for any given event. This will be rotated amongst each committee member throughout the year.

Applications close next Thursday, and all they have to do is download + fill out this form, and send it here.
