Wednesday TV Wrap: MKR Has Seven Cookin’ Again

With MAFS gone, it’s a collective sigh of relief over at Seven as viewers flood back to MKR.

The cooking show bagged 885,000 last night according to OzTAM metro numbers and was the top watched entertainment show of the night.

Over at 10, the second instalment of Bachelor In Paradise pulled 539,000, but was down 14,000 from Tuesday’s debut.

Seven won Wednesday with 32.1 per cent of the audience’s eyeballs. Nine had 24.2 per cent, 10 was third with 18.7 per cent, ABC was very close behind with 18.3 per cent and SBS had 6.6 per cent.

In brekkie news, Sunrise (273,000) beat Today (186,000).

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 1.053 million. Home And Away did 723,00, The Chase had 757,000 and The Front Bar continued to shine, posting 399,000.

Nine’s best was its 6pm news with 901,000, followed by ACA with 739,000 and Hot Seat with 471,000. Sadly, its Footy Show revamp could only muster 146,000.

10’s other standouts were The Project with 477,000, 10 News First with 410,000 and Bull with 208,000.

The ABC’s night ran thus: Hard Quiz (728,000), 7pm news (670,000), The Weekly Wiht Charlie Pickering (661,000), 7.30 (631,000) and You Can’t Ask That (479,000).

Over at the SBS, its best was Great British Railway Journeys with 189,000.
